Ionia Standard, 3 Mar 1911

The 2 ½ years old child of Mrs. Alice Brooks, North Dexter street, died quite
unexpectedly on Sunday, and was buried Monday.  The father of the child is the
Mr. Brooks who was killed in a fall from a high factory brick smoke stack at
Pontiac about a year ago.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in Oak Hill cemetery.]
