LAKE ODESSA- George Leroy Brownell Jr., 23, of Lake Odessa, died Tuesday from 
accidental injuries.

He was born December 19, 1969, in Alvin, Texas, the son of George and Barbara 
Holland Brownell.

He attended Lakewood High School. He was employed at Airport Farms. He served 
in the National Guard and was a member of the National Rifle Association.

He is survived by two sons, Christopher and Nicholas, and one daughter, 
Jessica; his mother, Barbara Ruid of Lake Odessa; his father and stepmother, 
George and Vicki Brownell of Florida; ad his stepfather, Thomas Ruid of Saranac.

Also surviving are one brother, Thomas Ruid of Freeport; one sister, Kimberly 
Miller of Lake Odessa.
