George Bunnell passed away Tuesday evening at the home of his son-in-law and 
daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Emil Paulsen, with whom he had lived for several years 
and where he had spent the winters for 19 years.  He was born near Gowen 86 
years ago and that was his home until coming to this city.  He had always been 
in excellent health and performed many tasks about the home, having shoveled 
the snow from the walk surrounding the house on Tuesday morning.

Besides Mrs. Paulsen he is survived by one stepdaughter, Mrs. Frank Denison of 
Gowen; four grandchildren and two step grandchildren.

A short funeral service will be held Saturday at 2 o’clock at Fitzjohn’s 
funeral home with Rev. Thos. Rice officiating and at 3 o’clock a service will 
be held at the Gowen Community church with burial in Spencer Mills cemetery.
