FUNERAL OF AUNTY CHAPPLE
The funeral of Aunty Marie Chapple was held Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock at her 
residence, Rev. Prestidge preaching the funeral sermon. Mrs.Chapple had been ill 
for several weeks of jaundice and at her advanced age, could not be cured. She 
was born in England in 1841, came to America 1854 settling in Buffalo with her 
parents where she lived about 27 years, since which time she has lived in Lake 
Odessa until Apr.30 when she passed to the great beyond where sorrow and pain do 
not have dominion, leaving a sister Mrs.George Dean of Kalkaska who has cared 
for her in her illness and a brother Mr.John Chapple of Berlin besides other 
relatives and a large number of friends who will miss the happy smile and cheery 
words of this quiet old lady.
