The Ionia Sentinel-Standard, Tuesday, May 31, 1955
Ernest A. Cunningham, 72, died unexpectedly at 12:30 a.m. Sunday at his farm 
home where he had lived 57 years.  Mr. Cunningham was born August 26, 1882, in 
Woodland township, the son of Edwin and Iantha Cunningham.  He was married to 
Ruth Wortley in 1906.  He had been a lifelong resident of that area.  

Survivors are his wife, Ruth, and one son, Dean of Route 1 Lake Odessa.

Services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Pickens funeral 
home.  The Rev. George Nieman will officiate.  Burial will be at Lakeside 
cemetery Lake Odessa.
