Belding – Winnifred Marian Currie, 67, died unexpectedly Monday morning at
United Memorial Hospital of a heart condition.  Mrs. Currie was injured when she
fell in Jeffersonville, Ind., Sunday, breaking an arm and a leg.  She was
enroute to Florida with friends.

Born at Spring Lake, April 25, 1889, the daughter of Mary Elizabeth Carmel and
Harry Carlington, her present home was at 303 Brown St., Belding.  On Dec. 21,
1912, she was married to Bynell Currie who died in 1952.

Mrs. Currie was a member of the Congregational Church, Social Circle and
Southside Birthday Club.

She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Howard Wood, Belding, and Mrs. Jay C.
McNaughton, Grand Rapids and one sister, Mrs. Ernest Hansen, R3 Greenville. 
There are six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Ellis Chapel with the Rev.
H.B. Johnson officiating.  Burial will be in River Ridge Cemetery.
