Ionia Daily Sentinel, 21 Dec 1942

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Warren Darby, 71, of Saranac were held Sunday 
afternoon at the Morris funeral home in Saranac.  Rev. E. H. Humphrey 
officiated, and burial was in the Saranac cemetery.

Mrs. Darby was the daughter of Benjamin L. and Alice C. Warren, and was born in 
Wheatland township, Monroe county, New York, November 5, 1871.  Her parents 
moved to Michigan when she was about six years of age, and settled in Ionia 
county, where she had resided most of her life.

She is survived by her husband, William Darby; one son, Selden W. Conner, of 
Ionia; three grandchildren, Ivan D. Connor, of Allegan, Mrs. Margaret Polk, of 
Detroit, and Sgt. Murl B. Connor stationed at Baer Field, Ind., and two great 
grandchildren.
