Rev. John Gerhing, of Hart, will officiate and burial will be in the family lot in Saranac cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Palmer, John Adgate, William Draper, Myron Griswold, Max Densmore and Lee Leary. Mrs. Densmore, who died as the result of pneumonia, was born May 11, 1870 in Peoria, Ill. She was the daughter of Luke and Jane Otis and came to Berlin township with her parents when a small child. Before her marriage to W. E. Densmore, December 26, 1894, she owned and operated a millinery store in Saranac. The first year of their married life the couple spent in Grand Rapids, but returned to Saranac, where they owned and operated a furniture store and undertaking establishment. Mr. Densmore died in July, 1940, and the store was taken over by the Universal Products Company. She was a lifelong member of the Congregational church of Saranac, the Mite society, Order of Eastern Star, Saranac Woman’s club, Garden club and bridge club. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Winifred E. Hart of Flint; two grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Crane of Lansing.
