Gordon K. Dickson, 63, 9621 Belding Road, Belding, died Monday at Blodgett 
memorial Hospital.

He was born Aug. 26, 1923 in Berlin Township, the son of Leland Dickson and 
Lorena Smith.  He married Doris Bradford on Aug. 28, 1948 in Belding.  He was a 
corrections officer at the Michigan Reformatory in Ionia before retiring in 
March 1985.

He was a veteran of W. W. II and the Korean conflict, serving with the First 
Marine Division.  He was a member of the Belding American Legion No. 203 and 
the Belding Sportsmans Club.

Surviving are his wife, Doris; one son, Darwin of Belding; his mother Lorena 
Smith of Belding; one brother, Raymond of Erie, Pa., two grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Huffman Funeral Home in 
Belding with the Rev. Kendall Downing and the Rev. Wilford Wood officiating.  
Military services will be provided by Belding American Legion No. 203 at Easton 
Cemetery.  The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. and 
Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m.
