RICHARD "DICK" BURGESS DOANE
Richard of Lake Odessa died January 16, 2016-age 80 at Grand Rapids Hospital.
Born December 21, 1935 in Lansing son of Raymond and Alice (Burgess) Doane.
Graduated 1953 at Lansing Eastern High School & Michigan State University in 1957.
Served in the U.S. Army in Europe where he met his wife Rosemary in Germany.
Dick was employed by Auto Owners Insurance Company for 14 years.
After he earned his CPCU he purchased an Independent Agency in lake Odessa, MI. 
Member of the lake Odessa Lions Club, several terms on the Lake Odessa Council, 
including the waste Management Authority.
Survived by his wife of 56 years Rosemary (Mueller) Doane, daughter, Kerry, son
Mark, grandchildren, sister, niece, great-nieces and nephews, and wonderful friends.
Visitation to be held Friday, January 22, 2016 at Koops Funeral Chapel from 5 to 8
PM.
A Memorial gathering at the Centennial Acres golf Course & Banquet Center, 12485 Dow
Rd. Sunfield on Saturday, Jan. 23, 2016 at 1;00 PM with Military Honors.
