The Belding Banner, Thursday, October 31, 1963


Mrs. Christine P. Douglas, aged 41, died Thursday at the Belding Community 
hospital after a 2½ year illness.  She resided at 5544 Storey Rd.

Born in Crossgates, Scotland, June 25, 1922, she came to America when she was 
six years old and to the Belding area in 1956.  She was married to Glen E. 
Douglas Nov. 21, 1939 in West Virginia.

Surviving besides her husband Glen are one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Ann) 
Feuerstein of Belding; one son, Glen Edward Douglas Jr., of the US Army and is 
stationed at Ft. Chaffee, Ark.; her mother, Mrs. Minnie White of Belding; one 
sister, Mrs. Gino Martina of Belding; two grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Huffman funeral home with the Rev. 
Barry L. Grahl of Green Corners’ Baptist church officiating.  Burial was in 
River Ridge cemetery.
