Sentinel-Standard - Tuesday, April 24, 1951

Darlene B. Emelander, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Emelander, 
Saranac, Route 2, died at the Ionia County Memorial hospital Monday, April 23, 
at 8:30 p.m. the day of her birth.

She was born at 10:30 a.m. Monday at that hospital.

Surviving besides the parents are a brother, Garret, 3, and the grandparents, 
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Powell, of Akron.

Prayer services will be held at the Myers funeral home at 10 a.m. Wednesday. 
The Rev. Court Adams will officiate. Interment will be in Easton cemetery.
