Margie M. Farrell, 74, of Ionia died Wednesday, April 1, at her home. Margie Mae
Shattuck was born May 23, 1923, in Ionia the daughter of Edgar and Mary Ellen
(Randall) Shattuck. She grew up in Ionia and graduated from Ionia High School.
Farrell was an avid bingo and slot player.

She is survived by 4 sons, Lamont (Pam) Farrell of California, Jack (Sharon)
Farrell of Ionia, Willard (Kym) Farrell of Ionia and Rick Farrell of Ionia; two
daughters Charlotte (Joseph) Kruger of Lyons and Peggy (George) Shindorf of
Ionia; 13 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; three sisters, Louise Hope
of Ionia, Alice Dulek of Belding and Lucille Meyers of Florida; many nieces and
nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; one granddaughter, Christie
Mae Farrell; three brothers and six step-brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4 at Cook Funeral Home, Rich
Street Chapel, with Rev. Darren Tharp of the Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church
officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Memorial
contributions may be made to the family.
