Young Matron of Portland Is Dead

Mrs. Guy Fisher Passed Away Last Friday 12 Days After Birth Of Baby Boy.

The death of Mrs. Guy Fisher, 29 years of age, occurred at her home last Friday 
morning, twelve days after the birth of a baby boy.  Funeral services were held 
from the home Sunday afternoon.  Burial was made in Portland cemetery.

Mrs. Fisher was formerly Miss Florence Davis and came to Portland with her 
parents from Lyons when a small child.  She was a graduate of Portland high 
school and taught school for a number of years.  Ten years ago she was united 
in marriage to Mr. Fisher and had since resided on a farm near the Shotwell 
bridge.  Besides the husband and infant son she is survived by the parents, Mr. 
and Mrs. Will Davis, of Thomas, Mich., who arrived at her bedside a short time 
before she died, one brother, Floyd Davis, and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Linabury, 
who reside at Thomas, and another sister, Mrs. Beulah Huddleson, of Lansing.
