Melba Ann Wolfert Fitts, 78 of Darlington, S.C., died Sunday, Oct. 12, 2008, in
Bethea Baptist Health Care.  She was born Aug.  16, 1930, in Ionia County.

Among her survivors are son, Jeff (Gina) Garrard of Somerville, S.C.;
grandchildren, Jami Garrard and Jill G. Stern; brother, Donald Wolfert of Ionia
and a great-grandchild Jace Garrard Stern.

A funeral service for Melba Ann Wolfert Fitts, will be at 3 p.m., Tuesday, Oct.
14, 2008, in Bethea Baptist Home Chapel.  Family members will receive friends
Tuesday, Oct. 14 2-3 p.m. at the Bethea Baptist Home Chapel.
