James G. Fox, 41, of 7860 Elmwood, Portland, died May 19 at a Lansing hospital.
 He was born Dec. 15, 1946 in Portland, the son of Lester and Lillian (Lenneman)
Fox.

Surviving are his wife, Diane; two sons, Joseph and Thomas, both at home; one
daughter, Amanda, at home; his mother, Lillian Fox of Portland; one brother,
Raymond of Portland; four sisters, Karen Kutchie of St. Johns, Janice Fox of
Lansing, Patricia Vela of Grand Ledge, and Mary Ann Lawrence of Portland.

He was a material handler at B.O.C..  He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic
Church, the American Legion Post 129, and the Conservation Club of Portland.

The family will receive visitors Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2 to
4 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m. at the chapel.  Rosary will be said Sunday at 8 p.m.
at the Neller Funeral Home in Portland.  Funeral services will be Monday at 10
a.m., with the Rev. Richard VanLente officiating.  Burial will be in Portland
Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be left at the funeral
home.
