George W. Funk, 82, died Wednesday in Pennock hospital, Hastings, following a
week’s illness after a fall in his home south of Lake Odessa.

He was born December 22, 1867, on the farm where he made his home.  He was a
member of the Zion Lutheran church.

Surviving are one sister, Mrs. John Reiser, of Woodland, and a brother, Albert
Funk, of North Woodland.

The body is reposing at the Pickens funeral home in Lake Odessa until Friday
noon, when it will be removed to the Zion Lutheran church, where services will
be held at 2 p.m.  The Rev. George Neiman will officiate.  Interment will be in
Lakeside cemetery.
