Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard   - 12 December 1951
Stanley J. Gazella, 641 West Riverside Drive, South Ionia, died at the Ionia 
County Memorial Hospital Wednesday at 12:30 pm.  He was taken to the hospital 
Tuesday night about 11:30.  Gazella was a driver for many years for the late 
Fred W. Green, both while he was connected with the Ypsilanti Reed Furniture 
company and while he was governor of the state of Michigan. It is estimated he 
drove for Green for about 30 years.  For the last several years he has been 
weigh-master at the state highway commission weigh-check station near the 
junction of M-66 and US-16.   Surviving besides his wife, Ethel, are a brother, 
Louis of Grand Rapids, a former pro at the Ionia County club; and a sister, 
Veronica Dutton of Jackson.



Funeral arrangements are being made by the Myers Funeral Home and will be 
announced later.
