Bruce J. Groom 64 of Edmore died Sunday morning May 18, 2014 in Edmore.  Bruce 
was born on July 30, 1949 in Ionia, the son of Bird and Iris (Wiles) Groom.  In 
earlier years he had worked at Leppinks Supermarket in Lakeview. 

Bruce was a big fan of Elvis Presley, enjoyed fishing and dancing.  For 42 
years he had the love and care of living in the home of Bonnie Kilchermann in 
Edmore. 

Bruce is loved and survived by his brothers; Bill and Ellie Groom of Belding, 
Dan and Mary Groom of Ionia, several nieces and nephews.  He was preceded by 
his parents. 

Funeral and committal prayers will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Shiloh Community 
Church with Pastor Ken Harger officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before 
the service at church.  Interment will be with his mom and dad in Ft. Custer 
National Cemetery, Augusta.  Memorials may be given to Shiloh Community Church- 
Campground Fund.  Funeral care has been entrusted to Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral 
Home, Belding.
