Excerpts from Obituary:
YVONNE ALICE HAFNER of Sarasota, FL.
Yvonne Hafner born April 16, 1933 in Ionia, MI. 
Died June 25, 2019-age 86 in Sarasota, Florida.
Married Albert Hafner February 22, 1954, lasting 65 years.
Graduated from Michigan State University in 1955, with an Education degree.
Began career as Elementary Teacher at Foster School, then as a teacher  & 
then as a director for Peoples Church Preschool.
Was a volunteer at Sailor Circus where her granddaughters preformed. 
Member of Circus Fans World, and volunteer for the Sarasota Alliance for 
Historic Preservation.
Survived by husband, Albert Hafner of Sarasota, FL & East Lansing,
Also surviving are her daughter Annette, son Paul, son  Peter, and four 
grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her mother Mary Alice Croel Smith & son-in-law. 
Memorial service will be Sunday August 10, 2019 at 1 PM in the Sanctuary of 
Peoples Church, 200 W. Grand River Ave., East, Lansing, MI. A coffee 
reception will follow.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations be given to Circus 
Arts Conservatory, 2075 Bahia Vista Street, Sarasota, FL. 34239.
