Ionia Daily Sentinel Standard, 10 May 1935

Mrs. Lovina Halladay, 96, mother of Rev. W.H. Halladay, pastor for several years
in Saranac, died at her home at Errol, N.H., May 4.  Mrs. Halladay had made her
home for many years with her son and family and was well acquainted in Ionia
County as they were residents of Portland several years before being transferred
to Saranac.  Since the family has been in the east Mrs. Halladay had returned to
visit her friends in Saranac every fall.
