BEVERLY HELMS 1963-2017
Beverly L. Helms, age 53 of Ionia, MI passed away May 13, 2017 in Ionia. She was 
born on July 18, 1963 in Adrian, MI the daughter of Chet Sager and Teresa 
(Maddox) Hummel.

Beverly was a huge supporter of the Restore church in Ionia and The Right Door 
For Hope, Recovery and Wellness of Ionia.

Beverly is survived by her father, Chet Sager of Ohio; mother Teresa (Allen) 
Hummel of Ionia; children, Amber Brown of Kalamazoo Nathan (Tiana) Meek of 
Ionia, Collin Timothy Darnell of Ionia, Elizabeth Helms of Ionia, brothers, 
Brian (Truda) Sager of Port Huron, Rob (Adria) Pluchinsky of Delton; 
grandchilden, Caitlyn Cline, Nova Meek, Ryker Meek.

She was preceded in death by one son, Michael Meek.

A celebration of life will be held for Beverly on Friday, May 26 at 2 p.m. at 
Restore Church in Ionia with Pastor John Prominski officiating. Arrangements are 
being made with Lake funeral Home of Ionia. Online condolences can be made at
