Hogan was born in Livonia, New York, January 29, 1872, and died August 26, 1934. He moved with his parents to Michigan at the age of five years and always lived on a farm. He was a young man, honest and industrious. His funeral was largely attended by friends and neighbors. The Requiem High Mass was sung at St. Mary’s Catholic church in Carson City by his good pastor, Rev. P. A. O’Toole, assisted by Fr. McNeil. The sermon was preached by Rev. Fr. Behan of Imlay City. Burial was beside his parents in St. John’s cemetery, Hubbardston. He was a kind, affectionate brother and leaves to mourn their loss one brother and one sister, John and May at home, and several nieces and nephews.
