BELDING- Rocky Jim Hopkins 66 of Lyons, formerly of Belding, went to be with 
the Lord on Tuesday, July 30, 2013, under the loving care of his family and 
Hospice at home.

Rocky was born on Sept. 21, 1946, in Palo, the son of Chauency and Ella 
(Benoit) Hopkins.

He worked at American Bumper/Meridan/Ventra in Ionia, retiring in 2011. He 
loved music and was an accomplished musician, he enjoyed fishing and hunting.

Rocky is loved and survive by his children, Richard (Krista) Hopkins, Kathryn 
(Eddie) Case all of Belding and Kim (Ken) McDonald of Virginia; grandchildren, 
Kadin, Braxten, Chelsie, Kia, Mackenzie; his companion, Juanita Flick of Lyons; 
siblings, Joyce (Carl) Hoag of Belding, Daniel Hopkins (Vicki Obert) of 
Stanton, George (Peggy) Gomez of Lyons, Loia (Kenny) Leonard of Lyons, Eric 
Obert-Hopkins of Stanton; two grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and 
cousins.

Rocky was preceded by his first wife, Judith Harden in 1995, second wife, 
Darlene Cesar in 2008 and his parents.

Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 6, at Shiloh Community Church 
with Pastor Ken Harger officiating. Private committal prayers will follow in 
Greene Cemetery, Belding.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Johnson-Feuerstein Funeral Home, 
Belding.

Memorials may be given to Shiloh Community Church.
