Ionia Sentinel Standard- June 2026

KENNETH OTTO HORROCKS

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Kenneth Otto Horrocks. 
Kenneth was born in Ionia June 7, 1947 to Otto and Eleonore (Lindsey)Horrocks 
and attended Lyons, Muir schools. Kenneth served his country in the uS Army in 
Korea and Germany. 
He is survived by his children: Danelle Horton, Doug Horrocks, and John Horrocks 
of Nebraska, brothers Lindsey (Cindy) Horrocks of Nebraska, and James Horrocks 
of Saranac and Sisters Shirley Houghton of Ionia, and Gerri Brown of Ionia, 12 
grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
Kenneth was preceded in death by his daughter Sherri Kelley, parents and 3 
sisters.
A Memorial service will be held at the Lyons VFW June 20, 2026 from 12:00-
3:00PM.
