He was born March 6,1911, at Dimondale, the son of Charles A.and Ruby (Berner) Hoskins. He had lived in that area until moving to Lake Odessa four years ago. Mr. Hoskins was a 1928 graduate of Dimondale High School and had attended Adelthian Academy of Theology at Owosso. He married Irene Phillips of Elsie, Jan. 25, 1942, and had been employed by Fisher Body at Lansing for 25 years, retiring in March of 1971. Surviving are his wife: three daughters, Mrs.Arthur (Ella May) Longpre of Mason, Mrs. Bryan (Kathie) Haney of Lake Odessa and Tressa at home; a son, Thomas and step-father, Forest Helms of Lansing, and three grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday at 1:30 at Pickens Funeral Chapel. Rev. Gary Lyons and Rev. Olav Labianca of Hastings officiated, with burial in Lakeside Cemetery.
