Ionia Daily Standard, 20 Mar 1919

The funeral services for James Howitt will be held on Sunday afternoon at two
o’clock, at his late home in Easton township.  Rev. M.L. Marshall will
officiate, and the interment will be in the family lot in Highland Park
Cemetery.  Friends wishing to view the remains, may do so at the Bradley
Mortuary at any time up till Sunday morning.

[Transcriber’s note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was born
in Scotland, the son of James Howitt.]
