She had been ill for several months and with Mr. Ikner, left Ionia about five weeks ago to spend the winter months with their son. Bridget Nolan was born in Ireland in 1865, and came to Michigan in 1878, when she was 13 years old. She was united in marriage with John Ikner, at Greenville, June 10, 1884. Mr. and Mrs. Ikner have resided in Ionia for 54 years, coming here from Stanton in 1885. They were the parents of two children, George, who died in 1890, and James of Saginaw, who, with her husband, survives. She also leaves two grandsons, James and John Ikner, and two great grandchildren, all of Saginaw. Father Henry A. Simon will officiate at the funeral which will be held from SS. Peter and Paul church Saturday morning, December 9. Burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery.
