Lake Odessa Wave 
          CORA E. JACKSON 73 DIED LAST THURSDAY
   Mrs. Cora E. Jackson, 73, of route 2, passed away Thursday morning at the Ionia
Rest Home where she has been a patient for four years.  Her parents were George and 
Nancy Mutschler of Odessa township and she was a lifelong resident of this area.  
Her husband Benjamin passed away March 15, 1934
   Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Odin (Eljie) Jacob and Robert (Wanda) Beard
of Lake Odessa and Mrs. Merrill (Beatrice) Patrick of Saranac;  four sons, Kenneth, 
Wayne, Marion, and LaVerne all of Lake Odessa; three sisters, Mrs. Dora Clemens and
Mrs. Inez Estep of Traverse City and Mrs. Lottie Knuppenberg of Grand Rapids;  18 
grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
   Funeral services were held on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at the Pickens funeral chapel
with burial in Lakeside cemetery.  Rev. Robert Betts officiated.
