LORRAINE SANDRA WALKINSTON
Lorraine Sandra Walkington passed away peacefully, Tuesday February 23rd, 2016. She
was born to parents Stanley Walkington and Gertrude Sitzer Walkington Frey.

Lorraine was a long-time resident of Saranac and raised her four children there
before moving to Grand Rapids and later in life to Sparta. She was a bookkeeper most of her
life and managed Alpine Golf Course in Grand Rapids and later owned and managed the 
Sportsman hotel and Bar in Newaygo.

Lorraine is survived by brother Darroll Walkington of Saranac, children; Steve
(Patty) Jackson of Kentwood, Lorinda Hauter of Spring Lake, Doug (Arlene) Jackson of Sparta.
Also, many grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Husband Louis Jackson, and son Bradley 
Jackson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 1st at Lake funeral Home in Saranac from 12 noon
to 1:00 p.m. with a funeral following.
