Estella E. Jeffers, 70, of 605 E. Carson City Road, Sheridan, died Monday, Dec.
23, 2002, at Spectrum Health Downtown Campus, Grand Rapids.  She was born July
17, 1932, in Ionia, the daughter of Elga and Edith Ward Roberts.  She married
William C. Jeffers on April 17, 1954, in Ionia.  Mrs. Jeffers was a longtime
resident of the Sheridan area.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one son, Robert; one grandson, Randy
Michael Fisher; and two sisters, Vivian Roberts and Henrietta Musser.

She is survived by her husband, William C. Jeffers; two daughters and
sons-in-law, Bonnie and Shannon Palethorpe of Sheridan, Kathy and Randy Fisher
of Fenwick; two sons and daughter-in-law, Ronald Jeffers of Sheridan, William E.
and Michelle Jeffers of Greenville; six grandchildren and two
great-grandchildren; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Ruth Ann Luettjohann
of Mesa, Ariz., Ellagean and Carl Miller of Ionia, Joan and Elijah Ward Jr. of
Fenwick.

Funeral services are 11 a.m. Friday at Stebbins & Simpson Funeral Home,
Sheridan, with the Rev. Rolla Timmons officiating.  Interment is in Clear Lake
Cemetery, Fenwick.  Visitation is 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
