Lowell Ledger - 7 March 1901
Charles Jepson died very  suddenly last Wednesday afternoon.  He was sitting by 
the stove visiting with Arthur Richmond when he reached down, picked up a stick of 
wood and put it in the stove.  As he leaned back in his chair his head fell over 
and he was dead.  Mr. Jepson  had been in poor health  for a number of years but 
had been feeling quite well for some time.  He was one of the oldest residents of 
Keene.
