Portland Observer - June 19, 1952


Funeral services were held in Lansing Wednesday afternoon for Mrs. Florian M. 
Kenyon, 73, who  died in that city Sunday, after an illness of several months. 
She was a former resident of this vicinity and well known here.

Deceased was born in Sebewa township in 1879. Her maiden name was jessie 
Balswin. In 1897 she was married to Mr. Kenyon, who survives. The couple 
resided near Portland for many yhears, going to Lansing 28 years ago.

Surviving, besides the husband, are one son, Dr. Loren Kenyon, of Wausau, 
Wisc., two daughters, Mrs. Esther Grimes of East Lansing and Mrs. Margaret 
Dennis, Lansing; a brother, Edson Baldwin, of Ionia and nine grandchildren. 

Additional Comments:
Burial was in Deepdale Cemetery, Lansing.

Funeral, Wednesday- 18 June, 1952 in Lansing.
