Ionia Standard, 29 Dec 1905

Chas. F. Kirby died Dec. 20, at his home in Montcalm county, near Palo.  For
many years he was a resident of Palo, where he had a shoe shop, and was well
known for his musical ability, being leader of the Palo band and the Palo
orchestra.  Funeral was held in Palo church at 11 a.m., Friday.

[Transcriber's Note:  There is a notation on the obituary card that he was
buried in North Plains Cemetery.]
