Ionia Sentinel-Standard
Funeral services were held Sunday, July 19 for Louis E. Koss, 73, of Sun City, 
Ariz., long-time Saranac pharmacy owner.  He died Saturday at Boswell Hospital in 
Sun City Saturday.  Services were ehdl from the Sunalnd Lakeside Chapel in Sun 
city and burial was in Sunland Memorial Park.

Born July 24, 1913 in Colorado, he was the son of Morris and Rose Kaplan Koss.  
Long active in Saranac civic affairs, he also serviced as a member of the board of 
trustees of Ionia County Memorial Hosital.  After sellig the pharmacy he operated 
for 41 years in 1980, the Kosses retired from Saranac to Sun City.
