All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/mi/mifiles.htm ************************************************ File contributed for use in USGenWeb Archives by: Sandy Heintzelman sheintz@iserv.net March 20, 2016, 11:16 am Ionia Standard, page 4, 27 May 1904 Daniel Krick, who died May 18, at the farm homestead in Easton, where he had resided for over 40 years, was born in Maryland in 1828, and some years later became a resident of Ohio, where he was married to Miss Lydia Warren of Stark county in 1841. They moved from Ohio to Easton, this county in March, 1861, where they passed the remainder of their lives. Mrs. Krick died in December, 1900. Six children were born to them, of whom four survive: Levi of Otisco; Martha, wife of Allen Conkling of Belding; Ella, wife of Manley Lansing, Easton, and Hattie, widow of Oliver Doxey, who has of late been the house-keeper at the parental home. The funeral services, conducted by Rev. W.B. Taylor, were held at the home May 21, and were largely attended by friends and neighbors testifying to the general respect in which he was held in the community.
