Janelle Elizabeth Loucks, age 36, of Muir, passed away March 24, 2008 in 
Lansing.

She was born Sept. 1, 1971 in Fayetteville, N.C. the daughter of Larry Smith 
and Sharlene Clark. She graduated from St. John's High School in 1989. Janelle 
married Travis Loucks July 19, 2007. She worked for Farm Bureau Insurance in 
Lansing as a customer service representative. She was involved with FSO at 
Twin Rivers Elementary School and Relay For Life.

Janelle is survived by her loving husband Travis Loucks of Muir; children, 
Madison Trueblood of Muir and Taggart Loucks of Muir; father, Larry (Kathy) 
Smith of St. John's; mother, Sharlene (Jeff) Stahl of Waxhaw, N.C.; sister, 
Kerry (Adam) Myers of Ovid; great-grandmother, Vida Church of Alma; mother and 
father-in-law, James and Lisa Loucks-McKee of Muir; grandmother Marilyn 
Hanline of Muir; nieces, Baylee Myers, Madison Loucks and Cheyenne Loucks; 
brother-in-law, Trenton (Melissa) Loucks of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 
stepbrothers, Jake Stahl of Ithaca and Scott Masarik of St. John's and 
stepsister Samantha Stahl of Ithaca.

Funeral services will be held Friday, 11 a.m. at First Christian Church of 
Muir with Rev. Greg Gladding officiating. Interment Oakwood Cemetery in Muir. 
The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. 
at Lake Funeral Home in Ionia. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to 
Janelle's children.
