Lovell died Saturday morning at his Rogers Park home. Lovell was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Homer T. Lovell, and left Ionia about 52 years ago. He was also the grandson of the late Judge Lewis S. Lovell, circuit judge of the then Ionia-Kent county courts for 25 years. It was Judge Lovell who built the first brick residence in Ionia, which is now the home of James Hilton. Surviving Mr. Lovell is his mother, who is 99 years of age.
