Jenny M. McConkey, 74, of Gowen, formerly of Greenville and Belding, passed 
away late Saturday evening, June 7, 2003 at Twin Oaks Adult Foster Care Home, 
Gowen.  The daughter of Wallace and Ella Bailey Lester, she was born August 24, 
1928 in Welch, West Virginia.

Jenny loved her family and especially enjoyed her children. She liked 
crocheting, sewing and playing cards and had been a member of the Lester J. 
Sitts Veterans of Foreign Wars Ladies Auxiliary in Sheridan.

She was preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Rollo V. McConkey, in 
1999; brother, Cleve Lester; sister, Carrie Watts; and two grandsons, Robert 
Fehkopf in 1987 and Ernie Miller III in 1988.

She is survived by four daughters and two sons-in-law, Ella McQueen of 
California, Helen McConkey of Greenville, Mary and Ernie Miller Jr. of Gowen, 
Carol and Paul Huey of Stanton; 19 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one 
great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brown-Teman & Christiansen Funeral 
Home, Greenville, with the Rev. Carl Gruno officiating.  Burial will follow in 
Rest Haven Memory Gardens, Belding.  Envelopes for memorial contributions are 
available at the funeral home, where the family will receive relatives and 
friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
