Coming to Michigan with her parents when a small child, she lived for some time near Battle Creek, afterwards moving to Hastings township, where on April 1, 1886, she was married to S.R. McIntyre. They moved to Sunfield in 1897, and then later to Lake Odessa, where Mr. McIntyre passed away in July 1924. Because of the infirmities of age, she went to Galesburg more than a year ago to the home of a nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Hollis Barber, where she was kindly and patiently cared for until she passed away, December 23, 1931. The immediate relatives left to mourn are; three nephews, one niece and an aged sister, Mrs. Jane Fisher, and so passes a kind, generous, neighbor and friend, who ever did all she could for others. The funeral was held at Central Methodist church Saturday afternoon. The pastor, the Rev. A.T. Cartland, preached, Mr. and Mrs. R. W. Goodemoot and Miss Helen Goodsell furnished the music, and burial was at Lakeside. Many friends from Cartland, Hastings, and Vicksburg were in Attendance.
