Ionia Sentinel Standard, 5 Jul 1988

Blanche C. Miller, 95, of 77 Vosper St., Saranac, died July 1 at Ionia County
Memorial Hospital.  She was born Oct. 15, 1892 in Boston Township, the daughter
of David and Eva (Lane) Walter.  She was a life member of the Eastern Star,
Queen Esther Chapter No. 35 of Ionia.  She was a member of the Evening
Fellowship of the Saranac Community Church.  She lived in the Saranac and Ionia
area all of her life.  She married Frank C. Miller in 1923; he preceded her in
death in 1935.

Surviving are two sisters Cassie Good of Portland and Ida Greenhoe of Florida;
several nieces and nephews including Evelyn Jackson of Saranac.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Lake Funeral Home in Saranac,
the Rev. Stanley Hagemeyer of the Saranac Community Church officiating.  Burial
will be in Saranac Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Saranac
Fire Department.
