Ionia Daily Sentinel-Stamdard - Tues. Jan. 31, 1961


She was born in Ronald Township, May 13, 1893 the daughter of Otis and Ettie 
Celia Wilson.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Dolphin of Los Angeles, Calif., and 
Mrs. Celia Selleck of Ionia: two sons, Earle and Norman of Ionia; eight 
grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a sister, Mrs Harold Howe of Palo.

The body reposes at the Boynton funeral home and arrangements will be announced 
later.



Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard – Wed. Feb. 1, 1961

Funeral service for Mrs. Ada Blanch Moon will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. 
Thursday at the Evangelical United Brethren Church with the Rev. Ray R. Fassett 
officiating. She had been ill about a year and died at her home at 11:20 
Tuesday morning.

A lifelong resident of Ionia County, Mrs. Moon was born May 13, 1893 in Ronald 
Township, the daughter of Otis and Ettie Wilson. She had lived at her preset 
residence 668 New North Dexter Street since 1947.

Mrs. Moon has been employed at Trojan Athletic Wear company since 1946.

She was a member of Evangelical United Brethren church and a former member of 
South Ionia Friendship club.

Preceding her in death was a brother, Irl Wilson.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Gerry Selleck of Ionia and Mrs. Genevieve 
Dolphin of Los Angeles, Calif.; two sons, Earl and Norman Marquette of Ionia; 
eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Harold Howe of 
Palo.

Temporary interment will be at Highland Park Mausoleum.

The family will be at the Boynton funeral home Wednesday from 7 until 9 p.m. to 
receive friends.
