Ionia County News-Thurs. Oct. 29, 1953

JOHN OGDEN
John Ogden, 72, died Saturday, October 24, in TraverseCity, where he had been the
past year.

He was born in Portland in 1881, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Ogden, and had lived
most of his life in Ionia County.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Ruby Shommie, of Huntington, Indiana; two brothers,
Henry and Charlie Ogden, both of Ionia.

Funeral service was held from Boynton's Tuesday afternoon. Rev. Heath Goodwin
officiated and burial was in Tuttle cemetery.
