William Lee Orr, 69, of Greenville died suddenly Saturday May 5, 2007 at 
Spectrum Health Butterworth Campus Grand Rapids.  He was born in Belding on 
July 27, 1937 the son of Ralph and Pearl Elmendorf Orr. His parents and a 
brother Charles and a sister Margaret Maybore preceded him in death. 

He was married on October 12, 1962 to JoAnn Olsen and was employed as an 
electrician with Lesco (Meridan Automotive Systems) for 30 years. He enjoyed 
gardening, the outdoors and his family. 

Surviving are his wife JoAnn, their children; Doreen and David Woodman, Larry 
Alan Orr, William Joseph Orr, Steven Robert Orr, Dennis Lynn Orr and Donald Lee 
Orr all of Greenville, grandchildren; Danielle and Christian Sowers, Stephanie 
Woodman, Ashley Orr, Theresa Orr and Tyler Orr and great grandson Logan Sowers 
with a great granddaughter yet to be born. Also surviving are his sisters 
Marian Orr and Dorothy Burns of Greenville, JoAnn’s siblings; Norman Olsen of 
Greenville, James and Pat Olsen of Port St. Lucie, FL and Donna and Randy 
Lincoln of Greenville, brother-in-law Francis Wilson of Sheridan and many 
nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be on Thursday May 10, 2007 at 2 PM from Hurst Funeral 
Home with Rev. Ken Harger officiating with burial in Clear Lake Cemetery. 
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
