                              CHARLES PATTERSON

LAKE ODESSA-Charles Patterson, 75, of 6796 Pleasant View Drive, Rockford, died 
Sunday at Butterworth Hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born on April 1, 1915, in Greenfield, Tenn., the son of Robert and Olive 
(Clymer) Patterson. He attended school in Tennessee and lived in Lansing and 
Grand Rapids before moving to Lake Odessa in 1976. He attended Faith Bible 
Church in Lake Odessa.

He married Margaret Darnell on July 5, 1937, in Greenfield, Tenn. He was 
employed by Dermody-White Trucking Company in Grand Rapids for several years 
before retiring in 1975.

He is survived by his wife Margaret; two daughters, Mrs.Early (Pattie) Wheeler 
of Grand Rapids and Mrs.Ronald (Betty) Campeau of Sunfield; one son, Charles 
Patterson of Holt, seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; one 
brother,Woodrow Patterson of Sarasota, Fla., and one sister, Russell Ann Watson 
of Lansing.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

funeral services will be held Wednesday at Koops Funeral Chapel in Lake Odessa 
at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Richard Sessink officiating.

The family will be at Koops Funeral Chapel, Lake Odessa, from 7 to 9 p.m. on 
Monday and 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions have been established for the Parkinson Foundation.

Burial wil be in Rockford Cemetery.
