FREDERICK POWELL
Frederick Powell, 51, of 10191 Bluewater highway, Lowell, died suddenly Saturday
morning at Blodgett hospital in Grand Rapids.

He was born July 13, 1926, the son of Mr and Mrs William Powell of Ionia. Married on
July 17, 1948 to Marilyn Friend in Ionia, he is survived by her.

He had been employed since 1954 by the State of Michigan department of corrections,
formerly as assistant director of food services at Michigan Reformatory and at the
time of death as hearing investigator at Muskegon Correctional facility.
