Ionia shopper's Guide - Saturday July 1, 2023

           RAY

Helen Jean Ray. age 79 until recently of St.Clair and formerly of Saranac, 
passed away on Monday,June 26, 2023. She was born February 25, 1944, the 
daughter of John and Myrtle (Lister) Burleson in McDowell, North Carolina. On 
August 13, 1970, she married the love of her life, Eugene Ray, who preceded her 
in death in 2001.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbra (Lisa) Burleson of St.Clair; and her 
dog, Bootsie.

She is preceded in death by her parents and husband.

A funeral service was held at 2 PM Thursday,June 29, 2023, at the Lake Funeral 
Home in Saranac. Visitation from 11 AM to 2 PM prior to the service.
