JoEllen Reeder, age 82, of Ionia, passed away Dec. 25, 2015 at her home surrounded
by her family.  She was born April 18, 1933 in Orange Township, the daughter of Leo
and Barbara (Baker) Costello.  JoEllen graduated from SS Peter and Paul Catholic
School, class of 1950.  She married Clark Reeder April 20, 1952.

JoEllen was a member of LeValley United Methodist Church, Michigan Milk Producers
and Farm Bureau.  She was well known for her baking skills and loved gardening,
cooking, music and dancing.  She taught so many, so much!

Surviving is JoEllen’s husband of 63 years, Clark Reeder of Ionia; her children,
Holly Ingvartsen of Ionia; Dan (Maureen) Reeder of Ionia and Kelly (Bill) Carlton of
Portland; sister, Carolin (Jerry) Piercefield of Lyons; nine grandchildren; 10
great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Larry Reeder of Ionia; and sister-in-law, Lois
(Chuck) Eddy of Illinois.  She was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia; two
granddaughters, Jaime and Jennifer McNally; and son-in-law, Larry Ingvartsen.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Reeder will be held at LeValley United Methodist Church at
11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015 with Pastor Ray Sundell officiating.  Private
interment at Tuttle Cemetery.  Visitation will be at the Lake Funeral Home in Ionia
from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday.  Those wishing may make memorial contributions to
LeValley Church, Ionia Area Hospice or wishes of the family.
