ERVA E.RINCKEY
IONIA - Erva E. Rinckey, 63, of 3856 S. State Rd., Ionia, died Friday in Grand
Rapids. He was the owner-operator of Hidden Valley Mobile Home Park on Stage road for several 
years.

He was born January 14, 1916 in Bloomer township, the son of Jason and Ada (Gonser)
Rinckey. He was married June 1, 1940 in Carson City to Margaret Locke.

He was a former employee of Consumers Power Company, working in Lansing and Ionia
for 22 years. He was a veteran of WW II, a member of the Methodist Church of Carson
City, and a member of the Masonic Lodge of Carson City.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; two sons, Robert of Biloxi, Miss., and William
of Charlotte; two daughters, Mrs. Nancy Barndal of Ithaca, and Mrs. JoAnn Briggs of
Antioch, Calif.; two brothers, Carl of St.Johns and Mervin of Cadillac; and nine
grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Myers-Roetman Funeral home in
Ionia. Burial will be in Bloomer Cemetery near Carson City.

A memorial has been established for the American Cancer Society  or the United
Methodist church of Carson City and contributions may be left at the funeral home.

The family will be at the funeral home Saturday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Sunday from 2
to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
