Ionia Daily Sentinel-Standard - Mon. March 1, 1976

Clifton Sayers, 70, of Woodard Lake, died Sunday evening at the Ionia Memorial 
hospital.

He was born in Portland March 29, 1905. He was a retired employee from Detroit 
Gasket Company of Belding. 

Surviving are his wife, Eldena; daughter, Mrs. Claude Strickling of Long Lake; 
two sons, Robert and Floyd Sayers of Ionia; 11 grandchildren; and a brother, 
Louis Follette of Detroit.

Services will be Wednesday at 2 pm at the Myers-Roetman funeral home. Rev. 
Kenneth Harger will officiate and interment will be at Woodard Lake cemetery. 

Family members will be at the funeral home Monday and Tuesday from 7 to 9 pm.
